The Problem
I noticed that people and organizations often underestimate the value of their educational, business, and creative documents until they lose them and miss opportunities because they cannot access them when needed. This problem is most important in conflict-affected countries like the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where conflicts lead to displacement, destruction, and loss of important documents, making recovery difficult or sometimes impossible.
Our Solution
We have created Tshijuka, a technology company that intends to fight document loss by ensuring that every document accessed through our platform and our physical office is securely stored either on the Tshijuka platform or within a secure document management system that we design and deploy for organizations or individuals for future retrieval.
Through our digital platform and physical office, we provide secure document storage, scanning, printing, digitization, and Management Information System (MIS) services to help individuals and organizations preserve, manage, and access their educational, business, and creative documents. While Tshijuka serves everyone, its impact is especially important in conflict-affected countries, beginning with our physical office in Mbanza-Ngungu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, where protecting documents can help preserve access to future opportunities. The platform already has users in four countries—DR Congo, Ghana (where founder Tresor Ndala resides), Uganda, and Kenya.
